| Naamehnay Project, Inc. - Question of Power was established in 2005 as a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Foundation. The mission of Naamehnay Project, Inc. - Question of Power is creating visual voices for individuals, families, and communities affected by the extraction, production, and consumption of coal for the production of electricity in America. Donations received for the mission of Naamehnay Project are fully tax-deductible under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
The photographic essays of Question of Power use traditional photographic documentary techniques of reportage, portraiture, and landscapes, with the addition of recorded audio interviews. The map provides locations of continuing and new work for 2012. Each location contains many human stories with unheard voices. Current essays may be viewed HERE.
